Oy Core Handling Ltd

Core Handling is a Finnish private company focusing in paper mill core recycling. We work in close cooperation with some paper mills in South East Finland, and some service providers in this field.

We have developed technology for core renewal and extension. This knowhow has resulted to deep knowledge in automated and reliable systems for high quality renewal of cores. Our first on-site core service center has provided recycled cores to the Stora Enso Ingerois Mill since 1998.

Since the industry and its way of operating is changing over time, we adapt to these changes and offer new ways of improving mill profitability and flexibility. Our solutions enable our customers to adjust their capacity and resources to changes in demand. Instead of putting effort in expensive and time consuming manual core sorting and cutting, the mills can concentrate on their core competencies – and reduce the environmental load at the same time!

Core Handling's financial position is strong and our business is growing profitably. This growth is set to continue. Besides supplying equipment, we build our service center network. Here, we also rely on selected local partners.

Core Handling is located in Lappeenranta, in the middle of Europe’s largest forest industry concentration. Our office is in Technopolis business park, next to Lappeenranta University of Technology.
