We innovate recycling methods and enhance reuse

The recycling operator Risain is a service launched by Sirpa Rivinoja in 2011, which renews recycling methods and enhances reuse. Sirpa founded the company in 2001 under the name Rivelina Design Oy, and at that time the industry was interior design, space planning, photography arrangement and product development research.

Service for the circular economy industry

After the recession came to Finland in 2009, Sirpa saw an opportunity to renew the company's operating concept. Even then, we started developing a service for the circular economy industry. The service was launched in January 2011, and the company's name was changed to Risain Oy. In the background is the word Resign (eng.); resign, resign. In other words, all the materials or goods that are being fired or dismissed from their place or function are to be relocated.
