Ostrobothnia Metallivällitys

Pohjanmaa Metallivälytys Oy was founded in 2003 by Kristiina Romu Oy a sister company, a scrap store whose business is recycling of all kinds of metal, wholesale and sale of scrap metal. The company's offices are located in Kauhajoki and Laihia, and are therefore in central locations, as there are plenty of different metal industry companies in the area. The company employs 10 people and more during the summer.

At the beginning of April 2014, the company opened another office in Laihia at Jarrumiehentie 46, 66400 Laihia.

The company is an audited company by Romukeskus Oy , which delivers scrap, e.g. For the Finnish steel industry and foundries.

The company has been operating as an authorized scrap car reception point since autumn 2004. The company has environmental and hazardous waste permits issued by the Environmental Center of Western Finland and uses the ISO 9003 quality system.

The company buys scrap metal mainly from various metal industry companies and private individuals.

The scrap yard has at its disposal several trucks with trailers equipped with exchange platforms, a 50-tn truck scale at the Kauhajoki site, a 75-tn truck scale at the Laihia site, and two different machines for material handling, cutters and cutting balers.
