We take care of everything and recycle as much as possible. 40 years ago, when we started, we were a recycled paper company. Today Returpappercentralen is a comprehensive supplier of recycling services. We collect, sort and process all different recyclable materials, see more under Services .

The recycling center is owned by Skrotcentralen i Uppsala AB and Stena Recycling AB. We are part of the Almgruppen together with Skrotcentralen, Uppsala Handelsstål, Handelsstål i Gävle, Arvid Svenssons, Åkerbloms Skrotaffär and Nordic Recycling.

We create sustainable business with our customers, under the motto 'think globally - recycle locally'. And we believe in a circular economy. It is inspired by the cycles of nature. The aspiration is that waste should not exist but be seen as a raw material. We at Returpappercentralen have the circular economy as our business concept; everything is resources and raw materials! There is no waste!

The recycling center has, together with the 'sibling companies' within the Almgruppen, created an integrated management system that naturally and structured constantly improves the business's quality, environmental and work environment work. Through a holistic approach and collaboration with the other companies, we work for reduced environmental impact and reduced risks for our staff, which indirectly generates value for our customers.
