OUR HISTORY

Modern technology and high treatment capacity are two characteristics that define the CALCIN IBERICO glass plant. Founded in 2019 thanks to the union of two companies: VERALLIA and TMA RECICLA, with the aim of establishing a company specialized in the treatment of glass container waste for domestic use, from selective collection containers.

We have an 8,200 m2 plant and human capital that gives value to the company and thanks to which it is possible to meet the objective of obtaining our final product: calcín, the raw material with which glass containers are made exactly the same as those original, with the particularity that recycled glass requires a lower melting temperature than the original raw materials.

With this, in the manufacturing process of new containers:

Less is consumed, saving between 20-30% in energy.

Carbon emissions are reduced between 20-50%

Reduces air pollution.

Saving of raw materials and conservation of the environment by reducing the extraction needs, we save on virgin materials such as sand, limestone and sodium carbonate.

Improves water quality by reducing pollution.

 It prevents waste from going to landfill.
