HISTORY

Hierros Servando Fernández SL has been operating the recycling market for more than 60 years. Its main activity is focused on the collection, processing, sorting and treatment of ferrous metals. To provide a better and more complete service we also run non-ferrous metals, used motor vehicles, etc.

The company was founded in Eibar (Guipúzcoa), and soon began to grow as a result of successful management and continuous re-investment of the capital.

The needs of growth made the company move its main storage facilities to its current location in the polígono Goitondo, Mallabia. The headoffice remains in Eibar.

The current General Director, José Antonio Fernández, the son of Servando Fernández, manages the company for 40 years where he attends to growth, respect for the environment and a clear focus on our customers.

J.A. Fernández is also president of ARMETAL, Metal Recyclers Association of the Basque Country.
