Our company

The company began its activity as a plant for the collection and treatment of used vegetable oil, expanding its activity over time towards industrial plastics and packaging.

Currently, more than 700 clients receive the service of Jimeno Tagús in four communities: La Rioja, Navarra, Castilla y León and the Basque Country.

Foundation

We started the journey with the company TAGÚS in October 1999 . We were looking for a difference in the recycling of used vegetable oil and we began to achieve it at the end of the year 2000, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of Environmental Quality of the Government of La Rioja, for a collection and management system for domestic used vegetable oil. System that even today continues to bear fruit.

Due to the experience we had from day to day, in May 2004 we designed a more versatile type of container , reducing collection costs to facilitate recycling in Town Halls.

The accolade came in 2001, when we won the public tender to collect and transport the batteries from the different Town Halls of La Rioja.
