SIRCAT is a company specialized in the provision of global environmental services, aimed at all types of industrial sector and especially the automotive sector.

It is characterized by being a responsible company within an activity with a high environmental risk. In addition to applying good management practices, it places special emphasis on conveying to all its stakeholders a commitment to responsible management and sustainable development.

It currently has three Transfer Centers in Catalonia and with different partners throughout the State that allow it to cover the entire territory.

History

SIRCAT was born in 2004 as a result of sectoral demand from car repair shops. They expressed the need for a project that would resolve waste management in the face of increasing administrative and social pressure in this area.

The Catalan Federation of Workshops (FECATRA) together with SIRCAT, carried out the TALLER-NET study in order to identify and design a service that meets the needs of this sector.

Based on the study, SIRCAT created a service adjusted to these needs , becoming the pioneer company in the application of a comprehensive waste service in Catalonia.
