DCD

DCD was born in 1996 supported by the legislation of the moment (LORTAD), with the purpose of being the reference company in the destruction sector. In the beginning, only large multinationals required this service, today extended to a large number of companies, professional offices and SMEs.

DCD opened its first facilities in Madrid, and at first it meant swimming against the current.

Paper was previously sold to the paper recovery industry as raw material, and in this context DCD is presented to companies as a shredding service. The first clients we had were multinational companies, in which the destruction service was already consolidated in their countries of origin. It is from 1999, when the LOPD (Organic Law on Data Protection) was born, the subsequent royal decree 1720/2007 that defines the security measures to be applied in the destruction process, and currently with the New European Regulationon Data Protection, when we experience greater awareness on the part of companies and organizations to comply with the regulations.

DCD currently has 9 facilities in Spain , equipped with an infrastructure capable of providing coverage to both the national and local markets and is consolidated as the leading company in the sector of confidential information destruction in Spain .
