Ecorec Recycling

Ecorec Recycling lays a solid foundation for a new segment on the Romanian market, becoming, in 2009, one of the important authorized operators in the collection, treatment and recycling of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment, holding exclusivity in the area through its services and infrastructure of N-E of the country.

In 2012, the company relaunches its services on the waste market, becoming an imposing collector of recyclable waste. Completing the legislative applicability in Romania on the entire waste management chain, starting with 2016 the company also becomes a recycler of plastic materials.

Being in continuous development, the company invests in new production spaces, in equipment as well as in staff training, so that at this time all the important activities of any segment in this field are included and applied.

Meeting the legislative requirements that regulate the annual national objectives regarding the recovery or incineration in incineration plants with energy recovery and, respectively, the recycling of packaging waste, Ecorec Recycling administers and fulfills on behalf of the responsible economic operators these objectives established by Law 249/2015, O.U.G. 196/2005 and the Methodologies for calculating the contributions owed to the Environmental Fund.
