Founded in the fall of 2006 by Kris Hodgins, 1-888 Dr. Waste began as a solution to the waste challenges Kris saw in the city of Ottawa. The ever-growing need for residential and commercial waste removal presented an opportunity. Using his existing experience within the industry, Kris started 1-888 Dr. Waste and got to work cleaning things up. A little over a decade later, Kris’ one-man operation has grown into one of Ottawa’s leading residential waste removal companies, and it continues to expand.

• We recycle! If it doesn’t have to be thrown out, we’ll find a way to get some more use out of it. We recycle any and all materials possible and ensure that all disposals are made through the proper transfer stations.

• We give back! We support a number of charities in the community through our donations. As part of our commitment to being environmentally friendly, our recycling includes donating used goods that no longer have a home.
