Mesut Recycling Packaging Waste

Our work in the sector started with the opening of our scrap warehouse on a 100m2 area by our father, Mr. Ali AKBAŞ, as a private enterprise in 1988. Our established company continued to grow with its investments.

With the investments made until 1994, we started to move forward in the sector with our company Akbaşlar Kağıt A.Ş, which was our first corporate facility in Mersin. Later in 2004

As a family company, our rapidly growing structure was formed in 2009 with the separation of the partners.

With a new joint venture in our new establishment, Antalya, on behalf of our youngest brother, Mesut AKBAŞ, Mesut Recycling Amb. Waste Industry Trade Ltd. Ltd. Sti was established and started to operate. Our company, which has grown rapidly until 2012, has changed its vision and has a different structure. Our partnership structure ended in 2012.

Our company was established on 29.01.2009. As Mesut Recycling Packaging Waste Industry and Trade Limited Company, it carries out Packaging Waste Collection and Separation activities. As of now, it serves 17 neighborhoods of Muratpaşa Municipality and all of Konyaaltı Municipality.

Our company, which has a strong stance in the sector with its corporate structure and experienced staff, always has an innovative perspective. It continues and will continue to work without ignoring the needs of both its personnel and the people of the region where it works.

In our country, each person produces an average of 1.12 kg of garbage a day. This means approximately 30 million tons, 5 million truckloads of garbage per year. Considering that there are 207 more countries in the world, the seriousness and importance of the issue will be better understood.

In today's conditions, the developing technology and the increasing importance given to the environment by the countries make us hopeful about our future in the environment. In fact, recyclable materials are used as much as possible in the packaging of the products to be produced. From this point of view, we can easily say that; The collection and sorting of packaging wastes will be the guarantee not only of our present but also of our future.

The collection and sorting of packaging waste is a universal problem extending from each individual to all living things, and each living person is obliged to do their part for both today and the future of all humanity. Mixing packaging waste with other garbage; It causes the landfills to be filled unnecessarily, the cost of products that can be obtained at a cheaper cost when recycled, and therefore the consumption of extra natural resources.

The basic principle of prevention of environmental pollution; prevention at the source, ensuring less consumption and minimum use of natural resources. As a result of all this, the separation and collection of used products should be carried out at the source. Otherwise, the separation work becomes impossible and the separation cost becomes unaffordable.
