Our family, who immigrated to Mersin from Erciş district of Van in 1989, started to operate in a small-scale business called 'Emre Kağıtçılık' in Mersin in the same year with the contributions of our uncle, the late Salih Yiğit, one of the famous figures of the paper industry at that time. A great wave of migration to metropolitan cities has begun. This segment, which usually deals with agriculture and animal husbandry in the places they come from, met this sector in metropolitan areas with migration. They have worked in different branches of the sector as collectors, scrap dealers, transporters and workers. The recycling industry has become widespread in these years and has gained great momentum. Existing paper mills increased their capacities and new factories were opened throughout Turkey. Therefore, this has increased the demand for recycling.

Our business was institutionalized in 1995 and established a recycling facility in Mersin in accordance with the standards. Later, similar facilities followed in Adana and Izmit. In these facilities, it undertakes the role of intermediary institution in the marketing of wholesale recycling materials throughout Turkey and abroad, together with its subsidiaries, generally along with retail purchases. 4000 tons per month and 48000 tons per year, increasing day by day. Our company has obtained the packaging waste collection-separation license within the scope of the regulation of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry.
