The waste management application, which includes reducing waste at its source, separating according to its characteristics, collection, temporary storage, intermediate storage, recycling, transportation, disposal and control after disposal, and similar processes, was updated in 2017 in order to protect our nature and leave a cleaner environment for future generations. It has been officially implemented with the Waste Management Regulation.

Our company owner, who started his father's business in the business of collecting and sorting packaging waste, glass recycling, plastic recycling, pet recycling, granule and wooden pallet recycling in 1960, has continued his activities in this sector until today.

Within the scope of the Packaging Waste Control Regulation, our company, which works with many municipalities and authorized institutions as a licensed collection-separation company for the projects of separate collection of packaging waste at the source, has expanded its field of activity by establishing domestic pre-separation facilities in Manisa in 1999-2004 and in Marmaris, Muğla, Denizli in 2009-2017. .

EMAY recycling, which has developed new branches of activity for the recycling of packaging wastes as well as an integrated waste management, obtains a hazardous waste transportation license with its partner company, and ensures the transportation of hazardous wastes, which are of great importance for the industry, to appropriate licensed recycling facilities.

Turkey, which is a candidate country for European Union membership, has entered a harmonization process in which the Union legislation (including environmental legislation) will be reflected in Turkish laws and fully implemented. Especially in the 2000s, in the European Union harmonization process, new regulations regarding the environment and the criteria to be complied with have increased and the concept of an integrated waste management company has developed in the sector. Reducing waste at its source, recycling and final disposal have become issues of great importance.
