It was March of 2009 when, just two weeks after marrying his fianceé Lisa, Thomas E. Diaz lost his job in the construction industry. For several weeks, he tried unsuccessfully to find work in his respective trade. Despite being undaunted, he needed a steady source of income and decided to make ends meet by offering to clear the properties of his friends and neighbors.
