Városi Szolgáltató Nonprofit Zrt. was established on January 1, 1993 as the legal successor of the Szentendre City Management Company (VGV), which was founded on June 30, 1954. 

The company is 100% owned by the founding Szentendre City Municipality. In the beginning, the company mainly carried out district heating, waste management, and city management activities. 

It is currently organized into 6 divisions and performs a wide range of public tasks related to the operation of Szentendre. Városi Szolgáltató Nonprofit Zrt., which became non-profit on January 1, 2014, provides district heating for the Püspökmajor housing estate with its own heating plant, provides public waste management services in Szentendré, Pomáz and Pilisszentlászló, and performs property maintenance and custodial tasks for municipal properties.

Among other things, his duties include the provision of Szentendre's public road and public space maintenance, city management, green space management, flood protection and water damage prevention, public cleanliness and winter road maintenance activities. Apart from Szentendre, 7 other settlements use lawn maintenance services, which are part of public cleaning activities. Városi Szolgáltató Nonprofit Zrt. operates the parking lot in Szentendre, as well as public and children's meals.
