Starlinger is the world market leader in the field of production systems for sacks, packaging fabrics and technical textiles made from plastic tape fabric. The company has been in this field for 50 years; recycling systems for plastics have also been developed and produced for more than 30 years.

Since the early 1970's, Starlinger has been supplying high quality equipment for the production of woven plastic sacks, ds coated and uncoated sacks, Leno fabric sacks, valve sacks, FIBCs (big bags), or AD*STAR® box bottom valve sacks. Various bulk goods such as e.g. B. cement, chemicals, seeds, grain, flour, sugar, citrus fruits, artificial fertilizers, animal feed and similar products.

Starlinger's proven expertise in plastics recycling is attracting growing interest around the world. The Starlinger recycling technology and Starlinger viscotec divisions have built a reputation as suppliers of advanced process technology for recycling and converting a variety of plastics including PE, PP, PA, PS, BOPP and PET. Starlinger recycling systems are leaders in the field of PET recycling and processing and have been approved by numerous brand owners as well as national and international authorities for the production of food-grade r-PET and HDPE granules.

New developments and state-of-the-art technology in packaging production and recycling pay off. Cement manufacturers, for example, have been able to significantly reduce the breakage rate of cement sacks throughout the logistics chain by introducing the woven AD*STAR® box valve sacks, developed and internationally patented by Starlinger. Other innovative packaging products made from polypropylene fabric have also been developed as pinch bottom bags, reusable shopping bags or for use in FFS (Form, Fill & Seal) applications.
With the help of recycling, production and post-consumer waste becomes a valuable secondary raw material. Manufacturers in the plastics sector, but also authorities dealing with waste disposal, can use this to reduce raw material costs and improve waste management.
