Reinhard Eder Blechbauges

Frankenweg 2 , Völkermarkt, Carinthia, Austria | Aluminum

It all began in 1962 when Reinhard Eder founded the Reinhard Eder tinsmith shop in a former brewery in Völkermarkt. The first employee was employed in the same year. The following years were characterized by steady and healthy growth of the young company. This is reflected not only in the constantly growing number of employees, but also in the purchase of a modern 6 m folding machine - at that time the first of its kind in Carinthia.

In the 1980s, the company was literally bursting at the seams. The location had become too small for the now 30 employees. So in 1986 a new plot of land was quickly purchased and after three years of construction a 3000 m² hall was built, equipped with modern technology and a contemporary infrastructure.

In 1993 the workshop capacity was expanded 100%. In the same year, the license for Solarwall (air collector technology) was acquired in Austria. In 1997 the laser cutting center was installed. When another shareholder - Fleischmann & Petschnig GmbH - took a stake in the flourishing company the following year, this brought a renewed growth spurt for Eder Blechbau.
