UD Stahl Recycling

UD Stahl Recycling Kft. is a member of the German Max Aicher Group. Its main field of activity is the wholesale of waste, including mainly the collection, processing and trade of steel and alloy steel waste generated by production, processing and trading companies, as well as by the general public.

Our locations in Hajdúhadháza and Miskolc have sidings, high-performance hydraulic shears are also installed in Hajdúhadháza and Miskolc, and we also have a 500-ton mobile shear capable of processing metal waste on site.

With the help of our modern transport and loading equipment and high-performance hydraulic processing machines, we carry out the metallurgical preparation and sale of approximately 120,000 tons of steel waste per year, and in addition, commercial activities for approximately 30,000 tons of waste. The waste to be collected is delivered from 6 counties, from around 100 of our partners.

We help implement modern waste management by installing collection containers of different sizes (1-32 m3) at our partners' sites, and in case of large amounts of waste, by installing balers, presses, grinders, and forklifts. We undertake the demolition of steel structures, machines, and tanks using flame cutting, plasma cutting, and oxygen lances. The waste awaiting processing arrives in containers in an environmentally friendly and safe way to our sites, where, after preparation according to the needs of the metallurgy (machine and manual cutting, baling, sorting, grinding), the delivery takes place almost exclusively by rail.

The vast majority of steel scrap is delivered to the Ózd Steelworks belonging to our company group, but we also deliver it to other steelworks.
