Steel – Metál Kft

We started our waste trade, collection and sales activities as a sole proprietorship in 1993, then operated as a sole proprietorship until January 1, 1998. That's when we founded MÉHIKE KFT.

Our company's headquarters and premises No. 1 are located at No. 34, Ady fasor, Villány .

In the first half of 2000, we opened our 2nd location in Pécs at Légszeszgyár u 34

As of June 29, 2001, our name was changed to STEEL-METÁL KFT as a result of a transformation.

In 2013, Steel–Metál Kft bought 100% of Baranyametall Kft., and in the summer of the following year it was merged as site No. 3 – Pécs, Edison u. 41 .-to Steel – Metál Kft.

At the beginning of 2014, we bought Mohács , Budapesti ou. 12 of the former ÉP-GÉP site in Mohács. In one part of the 3.7-hectare site, we opened our waste treatment site No. 4 , and in the other half we started a locksmith plant. In the same place, we established a dismantling and sorting hall, where non-hazardous waste, electronic waste, metal-containing parts that can no longer be used, and equipment are dismantled.

In 2012, the owner of Steel - Metál Kft. bought almost 60% of the business of Mohácsi Vasöntöde Kft., which was on the verge of bankruptcy, thus acquiring majority ownership.
