ELEKOS

On the basis of the contract, Elekos ensures for its members the collective fulfillment of all obligations regarding the handling of electrical equipment and electrical waste, packaging and non-packaging products, batteries and accumulators. All these obligations result from the Waste Act, which implemented European directives in the subject area into Slovak legislation. In accordance with the legislative changes, the Elekos association was granted authorization to carry out the activities of the Producer Responsibility Organization. 

Everything under one roof

Elekos was founded in 2007 by the companies Haker, Hilti, Makita and Narex Slovakia. For our clients, we solve legal obligations towards reserved products in the form of 'everything under one roof'. The Elekos association offers a comprehensive service - that is, it ensures the fulfillment of the obligations of manufacturers for all categories of electrical equipment, packaging and non-packaging products and batteries and accumulators. The Elekos association currently offers its members a simple, transparent and economically efficient way of solving legislative obligations with regard to the basic goal - ecological and environmentally friendly management of electrical waste, waste from packaging and non-packaging products and used batteries and accumulators.
