Kyiv Commune Service

The municipal enterprise of the executive body of the Kyiv Council (Kyiv City State Administration) 'Kyivcomunservice' was created in accordance with the decision of the Kyiv City Council of July 15, 2004 No. 460/1870 and is assigned to the management of the Department of Housing and Communal Infrastructure of the executive body of the Kyiv City Council (Kyiv City State Administration). 
KP 'Kyivcomunservice' carries out economic activities in accordance with the Rules for providing services for the removal of household waste approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated December 10, 2008 No. 1070, Decision No. 582/582 dated October 30, 2008 'On streamlining activities in the field of waste management (except toxic and especially dangerous) in Kyiv.

The purpose of the enterprise's activity is: ensuring the implementation of measures for the development of the waste management system in the city of Kyiv, decisions and orders of the city council and its executive body on the prevention or reduction of waste generation, its collection, transportation, storage, processing, removal and disposal and, placement and disposal.

Order of the executive body of the Kyiv City Council (Kyiv City State Administration) of December 18, 2017 N1589 'On the implementation of the decision of the tender commission on the determination of the provider of services for the removal of household waste in the territory of the city of Kyiv', the municipal enterprise 'Kyivcomunservice', defined as the provider of services from removal of household waste in Kyiv.

The main responsibilities of KP 'Kyivcomunservice' include:

1. development of the waste management system in the city of Kyiv;
2. provision of services for the timely and complete removal of household waste from the places of its generation to designated places of disposal;
3. coordination and control over the activities of solid waste transport companies;
4. introduction of separate collection of household waste in the capital.
