Tropaverde

Tropaverde is a project of TEIMAS DESENVOLVEMENTO S.L., an entrepreneurial initiative in the IT sector that specializes in the development of software solutions related to environmental sustainability and waste management. Some of our projects are TEIXO, a business software platform for waste producers, managers and transporters, and the information portal Gestoresderesiduos.org, aimed at people interested in the world of recycling. Tropaverde is an URBACT network of 6 cities and aglomerations (Zuglo (Hungary), Pavlos Melas (Greece), Opole (Poland), Nice (France), Guimaraes (Portugal) and Santiago de Compostela (Spain)) that aims to promote recycling by rewarding good environmental practices. URBACT is a European exchange and learning programme promoting sustainable urban development. 

Launching Tropaverde project makes us very happy because we understand that citizens are a fundamental part of the recycling chain. That's why we want to reward responsible citizenship through the collaboration of government, traders and local hotels.  Joining Tropaverde is being part of a movement that promotes environmental sustainability for a better future for you and your children.
