BLOWDEC
The universal technological device BLOWDEC, derived from the original Slovak patent, is intended for the recycling of waste with a high content of organic fractions, especially hydrocarbons. The technology is proven for the processing of various oil sludges, the liquefaction of mixed waste plastics and rubber, and the regeneration of waste mineral oils. Recycling with the BLOWDEC process allows almost 100% of the organic substances present in the waste to be 'extracted' in the form of valuable oil suitable for further refinery processing or use as heating oil.
Cracking, splitting of heavy hydrocarbons into medium oils constitutes another attractive area of application of BLOWDEC technology. Cracking of very heavy oil fractions is an economically demanding procedure in the deep processing of oil in sophisticated refineries. BLOWDEC represents an economic alternative for the evaluation of heavy residues after atmospheric and vacuum distillation of crude oil, or after its chemical processing.
The use of alternative energy raw material sources, heavy oil (Albania, Kazakhstan), oil-bearing shale and sands (Canada, Estonia) or natural bitumen (Trinidad, South America) constitutes a future promising field of application of BLOWDEC technology . Existing technologies enable the evaluation of huge deposits of such hydrocarbons with a limited economic effect, but the use of the BLOWDEC processmay increase the attractiveness of these hydrocarbon resources.
