Ecoinvest Ltd., producer of high quality plastic recyclates and regranulates, is one of the leading companies in Bulgaria focused on recycling recovery of waste plastic materials. Our production facility is located on 20.000 square meters in the industrial area of Pazardzhik, 120 kms east from the capital Sofia. The production technology is the most advanced available in the polymer recycling sector, using European brands like MAS, HERBOLD, EREMA, WIPA, FIMIC, BRITAS, SESOTECH, VECOPLAN. High quality production and services are the main priority of the Ecoinvest team. The incoming raw materials are sorted and prepared for further processing extremely careful. All processes of mixing, melting,extrusion and palletizing are computerized and electronically controlled. Density and melting indexes are measured for every batch.

DEVELOPMENT AND STRATEGY: In response to market needs, we initially expanded our range by including waste collection of all types of packaging - plastic, PET, metal packaging, wooden packaging, glass and their initial sorting, processing and transportation. Currently the quantities which we buy and sell monthly represent about 10% of the market share of waste packaging in Bulgaria. We work closely with organizations for waste use as servicing the systems for separate collection of municipalities and companies. In this respect our longstanding partners are large companies such as Metro, Billa, Kaufland, Kamenitza, Zagorka, Coca Cola, Devin, as well as many small and medium enterprises. Strategic objectives and the desire for sustainable development make us invest in the processing and recycling of plastic and wood packaging waste. These have an extremely broad consumption by households, industry, and agriculture. The production meets all the definitions of "green" economy. In addition to Bulgarian market the company's production is sold in Greece, Romania, Kosovo, Poland. The site for wooden packaging recycling allows the reuse of 100, 000 pieces of wooden pallets annually and 3000 tons to be processed as heating fuel. The first and still one of the main activities of the company is the collection and initial processing of waste paper, corrugated cardboard, offset paper, newspapers, magazines, etc. The close cooperation with the largest paper mills in the Balkans ranks Ecoinvest LTD. at a leading position among the companies involved in the sector of waste paper in Bulgaria.

ECOINVEST – LEADER IN PLASTIC RECYCLING IN BULGARIA: The priority activity of Ecoinvest is related to recycling of plastic packaging waste, including LDPE, HDPE, PP / PS, PP BIG BAGS, PET. In response to the trend of increasing the share of recycled plastic waste for reuse, the ambitions of the company are aimed at raising the quality and quantity of produced granulate and increase in the percentage of effectively processed waste plastic packaging. After the realization of the project under Energy Efficiency and Green Economy procedure of OP “Development of the Competitiveness of the Bulgarian Economy 2007-2013", with the help and co- financing of the European Regional Development Fund and the national budget, an innovative energy-efficient and environmentally developed technological line for recycling of stiff plastics will be implemented. This investment will allow the company to achieve high quality and production efficiency, as well as to meet all the requirements of internationally recognized standards.
