Fometal carries out non-ferrous metal foundry activities for the production of aluminum master alloys.

Processing and production capacity
The company, founded in 1996, is characterized by a continuous growth process and by a smelting equipment which today consists of 1 basin furnace, 2 crucible furnaces and 2 induction furnaces. 
The Fometal production plant is located in Colonnella (TE) and covers an area of ​​7,000 square meters, of which 3,500 are covered.

Fometal produces a wide range of aluminum master alloys, both standard and customized according to specific customer needs, and is able to guarantee homogeneity and conformity of the products thanks to a scrupulous attention to quality.

Analysis, control and certifications
The quality of the product in the melting and casting process is ensured by careful slagging of the bath, refining with gas and salts, filtration of the liquid metal and repeated chemical analyzes, which Fometal carries out in its laboratory with the use of two quantometers.

Fometal has also obtained the most important certifications in its sector of activity from recognized bodies.
