American Zinc Products

American Zinc Products is a leading producer of special high-grade zinc. Located in Rutherford County, North Carolina, our facility is the only one in the world that produces zinc solely from recycled sources. As the final step in our recycling process, we use a licensed electrowinning and solvent extraction technology to extract zinc from steel recycling byproducts that would otherwise be disposed of in landfills.

We want American Zinc Products to be a great place to work, and an asset to Rutherford County. This cannot be achieved without prioritizing the safety of our employees and protection of the environment above all else.
