Thompson's Appliance was founded by Roy Thompson on his farm and was at first an electrical contracting business that included commercial refrigeration services and walk-in cooler construction.
In 1929, the company opened its first store in Woodstock and began adding home appliances to its stock. It has remained a family business ever since and has been owned by Roy's son, Dick, and his sons, Steve and Bob. Now joining the company to carry help is Bob's daughter Richelle.
For 90 years and across four generations, Thompson's Appliance has provided the area with excellent choices in home appliances and backed the units up with reliable maintenance and repair.
