US Plastic Recovery

USPR purchases industrial plastic scrap generated by manufacturers and processes it back into high-quality plastic molding materials. USPR’s finished regrind is clean enough to often act as a replacement for virgin and reprocessed pellet. End-use applications for USPR’s finished product include carpet, fleece pullovers, septic tanks, trash carts, under-the-hood automotive parts, consumer storage bins available at major retailers, toys, agricultural films, rainwater management pipe, and many other commonly-used products.

USPR only works with large entities, e.g., petrochemical, pharmaceutical, molders, multinational, and major corporations. USPR does not accept drive-ups and it does not deal with the public. USPR is a service facility for the polymer industry.

USPR specializes in difficult-to-recover materials by utilizing its wide range of capabilities and high throughput rates. USPR can separate out dirt, paint, brine, talc, granule, pellet, various polymers, metals, and many other types of materials to produce a finely-tuned raw material suitable for automotive and other industries.

USPR’s machinery also is highly suitable for the  high-volume destruction of products, data, and documents. USPR’s main shredder is quite large and can process up to 30,000 lbs. per hour.  Various down-stream equipment can reduce down to various DoD specifications.  USPR recycles the destroyed materials where economically possible. In 2018, USPR recovered approximately 30 million pounds of polymer that went back into consumer and durable subassemblies around the globe. Our raw materials come from familiar names and go back into products that are used all over the world.

USPR is a practiced and committed environmental steward. We work with both our sources and customers to help them reduce their impacts on our planet. We do this by sharing our hard-won knowledge of recycled materials to enable them to use recyclable materials in their products.
