We made our start in the junk removal business back in 2017 after my son graduated high school. At the time, I worked as a crane operator and decided to cash out my retirement. And start a business that I felt was needed here in the northern part of the San Luis Obispo area.

We always knew that people needed junk removed from their home at one point or another but didn’t really see a professional service, catering specifically to our area. We saw a lot of guys with a pickup truck and a trailer and a lot of fly-by-night junk removal services that were here one day and gone the next.

We wanted to be different by providing fast, professional responses, timely job arrivals, and clean work. We succeeded tremendously in the Paso Robles area and we decided to tackle and serve our neighbors in Atascadero. This is how the Junky Munky was born.

Getting to work with my son and our new partners in Atascadero, while building our family business is a dream come true.
