Eagle Recycling, LLC is a division of Gorgy Recycling Company founded in 1992 by Jorge Velazquez, Sr. and is still family owned and operated today.  A Cuban immigrant looking for the opportunity of success, Senior started as an individual with a small truck collecting recyclable products throughout South Florida. His vision soon shifted to primarily focusing on cardboard recycling, seeing a demand for this service within the industry.  To drastically reduce the amount of cardboard going in to the landfills generated by South Florida Businesses became the ultimate goal.  By 2004, what was planted as a seed with one man and one small truck had blossomed into fifteen tractor trailers servicing over 250 commercial accounts in the tri-county area. Soon, Jorge Velazquez, Jr. joined his father to establish All American Recycling Center and together they built  what is considered today to be the largest cardboard and paper recycling facility in South Florida, collecting an average of six thousand tons of cardboard and paper on a monthly basis. Today, we have expanded our knowledge in the world of scrap metal recycling with the opening of Eagle Recycling in 2010. In this small period of time, Eagle Recycling has successfully turned into one of the leading buyers and sellers of both ferrous and nonferrous metals in South Florida. We are located in the heart of South Florida on 3 concrete acres making us the largest recycling center for scrap metal.  We have fifty thousand sq. feet of covered area for our customers, keeping them sheltered from extreme weather known to South Florida.  We are a young generation of individuals dedicated to providing you with the knowledge to help you sort and sell your commodities at the highest possible price. At the same time, we are dedicated to preserving our natural resources.
