As a consequence of our way of life, the production of household waste continues to grow... Today, faced with the threat of pollution, everyone must do their part, from sorting waste to processing it. It is about preserving our living environment. To meet this requirement, SIDOMSA implements the necessary processing channels: an activity that combines daily and long-term. Waste collection centres, recycling points for sorting glass and paper, yellow bins for recyclable household packaging and the individual and collective composting recently implemented are all tools that act in favor of our environment.

Individuals can now obtain a composter from our services. Making household compost yourself has many advantages: First of all, it reduces the production of household waste requiring collective treatment. Fewer waste volumes, fewer garbage trucks on the road, less landfill waste... If French households had the reflex to compost grass clippings, kitchen waste and dead leaves, the total quantity of waste would be reduced by 20%. And also for your garden: Making household compost also means producing a natural amendment yourself and using it directly in your garden, which provides real personal satisfaction.
