IRON RECOVERY, PROCESSING AND TRADE IN FERROUS AND NON-FERROUS METALS

Based in the heart of the particularly dynamic industrial region of Brescia, Reco S.r.l. has been dealing for more than thirty years with the recovery of iron and the trade of ferrous and non-ferrous materials from the most diverse industrial productions and intended for steelworks and foundries. from all over Europe. In accordance with its category 8 authorization, it also carries out direct brokerage activities for steel mills. Every year, we recover an average of 120,000 tonnes of waste from the production of companies – whatever their size or nature – or from the dismantling of industrial facilities. We recycle more than 99% of these materials to guarantee them a virtuous, sustainable and highly ecological life cycle. With regard to the recovery of iron, which is done on customer request or by setting up and emptying skips directly in the production company, Reco S.r.ls also takes care of the manual and automatic shearing of the waste at the using equipment specially designed for this purpose. The phase of analysis and control of the recovered waste is essential for Reco S.r.l. In addition to an initial radiometric control aimed at excluding any trace of radioactivity, we carry out a complementary verification of the materials by means of latest generation spectrometers which allow us to determine, in percentages, the exact chemical composition of the elements contained in the materials in order to be able to classify them with precision: this procedure guarantees maximum quality while offering customers an additional guarantee of reliability and safety. The recovery process of iron and non-ferrous metals ends with the shearing of the materials and the reduction of the volume of the metal waste in order to obtain unique pieces of standard dimensions which can then be stored and transported to steelworks and foundries. .
