The Materials Recovery Facility is open to the general public for recyclable packaging materials.

CRV ANNOUNCEMENT: Beginning November 12th, 2012 the Burbank Recycle Center will resume paying the California Redemption Value (CRV) for bottles and cans. 

Compost bins, electronic Waste, fluorescent lights, and battery recycling services are restricted to residents of Burbank only.

Electronics limit of 100 pounds per address per year, battery limit of 10 pounds per address per year, and fluorescents limit of 10 bulbs per address per year.

Keep oil, filters, and antifreeze separated. Place filters and antifreeze in designated drums.

Used motor oil from cars and trucks are limited to 15 gallons per trip. Containers not to exceed 5 gallons. Oil cannot be mixed with anything, i.e. dirt, water, solvents, gasoline, diesel, or others.

BRC pays (10) cents per quart of used motor oil upon request. If payment for oil is desired, please notify attendant before emptying container.

Free waste oil recycling buckets are available at the Hope Sustainability Center.
