Since 1998, OPEQ has helped avoid the landfilling of more than 18,000 tons of materials harmful to the environment by promoting the reuse and recycling of computers.

It is our collective responsibility to dispose of this computer waste in an environmentally friendly manner. Entrusting us with your equipment is contributing to the protection of the environment!

All computer equipment entrusted to us is sent to our sorting centers to be tested, cleaned and emptied of their contents. Among the computers and other electronic equipment that we recover, many do not qualify for reuse, either because they are not efficient enough to meet the needs of our customers, or because they have major defects. They are then dismantled and sent back to partner recyclers to be recycled safely and in compliance with the environmental standards in force. In its responsible management of IT waste, OPEQ only partners with certified recycling companies that are at the forefront of industry standards and regulations. Every year, OPEQ prevents thousands of tons of computer waste that is toxic to the environment and our health from ending up in landfills.
