MÜ-GU Kft. Was founded in 1989 and is owned by the Austrian Müller-Guttenbrunn GmbH. We started our activity in the Hungarian scrap metal market in 1992 at our processing plant built with a green field investment.

During our three decades of operation at our 40,000 m2 site in Soroksár, Budapest, we have built a modern reception base for the treatment of ferrous, metal and electronic waste, thanks to consistent and continuous development. Today, our 100 trained colleagues and our material turnover exceeding 200,000 tons per year guarantee that the delivery, processing and disposal of waste sold to Mü-Gu Kft. be handled in accordance with the strictest requirements, while keeping the interests of our partners in mind.

We are proud to have retained our flexibility despite the dynamic development, so that we are still able to respond quickly to emerging market opportunities. Our young, dedicated team of experts offers a solution to even the most special needs in a short time, supported by the background of a capital-intensive international company.

The technical expertise of our group, the Müller-Guttenbrunn Group (MGG for short), enables us to use processes within the group that enable us to recycle metallic and non-metallic materials from electrical and electronic waste and car wrecks to the highest proportions available today.

Of course, we have all the permits required for our activities, required by domestic legislation (Metal Act, Waste Act, etc.).

Mü-Gu Ltd. operates an ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management, ISO 14001: 2015 Environmental Management and ISO 45001: 2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
