The Fe-ferrum Commercial and Service Ltd. was formed in 1994 and it operates as a 100% Hungarian private enterprise. During its continuously extending operation the company became a recognized key Hungarian solid state recycling player in the Budapest region.

Fe-Ferrum Ltd. has been specializing in buying up ferrous and non-ferrous metal, steel, and battery waste originating from primary industrial sources. Beyond that it also buys from private individuals and retailers. The company process the gathered waste to secondary resource of the highest quality, most of which is to be sold directly to end customers both in Hungary and abroad. Quantity of the gathered and processed waste is 33 thousand tons annually.

The company is certified according to the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 quality assurance systems following Hungarian and EU laws, and authorized for automobile disassembly.
