IDW Poland is governed by Inko-Plus Ltd. established in 2004 in the south of Poland. The site of the landfill is 30 000 square meters large and it's located near the city of Oswiecim, Lesser Poland district. Initially, the landfill site served as a gravel pit and Inko-Plus Ltd. company was involved in extraction of gravel used for construction of roads and housing estates.

In May 2017, by the decision of the Mayor of Oswiecim, the area of the gravel pit was turned into to a landfill with rights to process, reclaim and recycle non-hazardous industrial wastes. The wastes buried in the pit lay foundations for construction of the Industrial Waste Utilization and Recycling Plant. Currently, the construction is at the stage of stabilizing the surface of the post-mining area.
