ECO-ABC

Przemysłowa 7, Belchatow, Lodzkie, Poland | Waste Management

History

The ECO-ABC company was established in 1992 as a result of the 'mission to protect the environment for Poland' - a pro-ecological initiative of the Canadian Ministry of Industry and the Polish Ministry of Environmental Protection.

ECO-ABC has been supporting the Polish health service by neutralizing medical waste for over a quarter of a century. We currently operate several modern incinerators in which we utilize approximately 20,000 tons of medical and veterinary waste.

Mission

We know the needs of healthcare in Poland, we understand the interdependence between ethical values, environmental protection, health and the quality of life of all of us. In order to meet the market requirements and customer expectations, we have created a comprehensive medical waste disposal system. All stages of disposal have been integrated into an efficient mechanism, which consists of: selection, collection, transport and utilization of waste, up to the final production of thermal energy. This allows for the elimination of waste in a way that best serves people - this effect is achieved thanks to ECO-ABC's 'good practices' and 'best available technology' (BAT), recommended not only in Poland, but also in the European Union.
