Van Vliet has modern machinery and other technical aids at its disposal to carry out this work.

History

1970

Van Vliet was founded in 1970, arising from a collaboration since 1956 between Mr HB (Huib) van Vliet and Mr A. (Arie) Blokland: the Blokvliet combination. In 1970, Huib van Vliet started the transport company in the chicken car sector and also started trading in sand and soil.

1974

In 1974 the eldest son, Gerrit van Vliet, joined the business and from then on Van Vliet started operating earth-moving machines. The company then consisted of 4 people. After a quiet period and slight growth of the company, the sons Kees and Bart joined the business in 1984 and 1985 and they quickly started subcontracting various earth and demolition works.

1986

In 1986 Van Vliet moved from Hardinxveld-Giessendam to its current location in Sliedrecht. From then on, Van Vliet started working as main contractor. Over the years, growth and professionalization have continued to increase.

2003

In 2003, a completely new site layout with the various required environmental permits was put into use with ample possibilities.

2017

Van Vliet Sliedrecht offers work to approximately 25 permanent employees and approximately 5 part-time employees.
