NPO Ecology LLC

 In 2005, in order to implement a project for the disposal, neutralization and processing of waste of 1-5 hazard classes, the Limited Liability Company 'NPO Ecology' began to be created - at that time the only processing enterprise in Chuvashia.

Since 2007, in order to fulfill its intended goals, NPO Ecology LLC has leased a land plot that was administered by the Cheboksary Industrial Tractor Plant, was intended for the construction of stormwater treatment facilities and was mostly polluted with former industrial waste from the Pikhtulinsky landfill, directly adjacent to the leased plot.

As part of the creation of an industrial complex for waste management, a building was built, equipment for recycling, neutralization and processing was purchased and installed. The amount of waste received annually from enterprises and institutions is about 10,000 tons.

Having the necessary scientific and technical potential, as well as a license from the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resources to carry out activities for the collection, transportation, processing, disposal, neutralization, disposal of waste of I-IV hazard class, NPO Ecology LLC accepts waste of various hazard classes, generated at enterprises: waste contaminated with oil products, used oils, oil sludge, galvanic sludge, sewage treatment plant sludge, chemical production waste, paintwork waste, contaminated packaging, vegetable and animal fat waste, medical, pharmaceutical and biological waste, electrical equipment, waste of polymeric materials, water-oil emulsion, coolant; provides cleaning services for tanks for petroleum products with subsequent disposal of waste. Along with the above services, our company specializes in the disposal of office equipment, the destruction of confiscated and other property converted into state ownership, drugs, physical evidence, vehicles transferred under the Recycling Program. LLC 'NPO Ecology' is included in the registers of vehicle utilizers approved by the companies 'GAZ Group' and PJSC 'AVTOVAZ'.

In 2019, NPO Ecology LLC was registered as a subject of the FSIS 'MERCURY' of the Rosselkhoznadzor.

LLC 'NPO Ecology' has created a production complex for waste disposal, which is equipped with a thermal treatment plant for medical waste; a site for the processing of plastic waste into a commercial product - regranulate; area for the neutralization of galvanic sludge by ferritization; a site for the treatment of used oils and the disposal of solid waste contaminated with oil products; site for the neutralization of oil-contaminated soil by biodegradation. The technological scheme of the production base with the installation for the thermal treatment of medical and other solid waste is based on an analysis of the main technologies currently implemented in Russia, in conjunction with the existing links in the technological chain for the collection, transportation and disposal of waste.

Reducing the cost of landfill destruction of factory production waste is necessary. One way is to burn garbage. Usually people are negative about this idea, remembering the smoky garbage containers under the windows of their apartments. But burning in special installations is not at all the same as just burning. The production base operates a thermal neutralization unit, in which, at a temperature of 1200-1300 degrees, what is dangerous to the environment is burned: industrial waste, medical waste of class B, C, including rubber gloves, narcotic substances, wood waste, paper waste and much more.  The unit is equipped with an exhaust gas cleaning system, combustion products pass through several stages of filtration, and the air remains clean. Thus, a modern furnace allows you to burn waste without a threat to the health of the personnel working at the enterprise, and residents of nearby settlements of the Chuvash Republic. The content of foreign particles in the air, even within a radius of 100 meters around the enterprise, is less than the maximum permissible concentration, which is permitted by sanitary standards.

Most importantly, the use of the furnace allows you to get rid of those wastes, the disposal of which is unacceptable or highly undesirable. These are infected and medical waste, rotting food waste, oil sludge and oil residues, and other bioorganic and chemical substances.

The equipment and technologies used allow us to neutralize waste as safely as possible for the environment and humans, which is our priority. We provide a full package of documents required for the preparation of environmental reports and confirming the transfer of waste.

For many years, our company, together with the Ecology Non-Commercial Partnership, has been one of the performers of the annual Clean Shore campaign to clean up the banks of the Volga River near Cheboksary and Novocheboksarsk, Chuvash Republic.

From the day of foundation to the present day, the director is Sergey Nikolaevich Lebedev - a modern, proactive, competent leader, a highly qualified specialist who knows his business, is distinguished by his ability to quickly resolve emerging issues, find a common language, both with subordinates and with business partners.

Lebedev Sergey Nikolaevich constantly takes an active part in charitable events and actions together with the Chuvash regional public organization for assistance in solving social problems of the family and the person 'The World of Kindness'. Provides assistance to schools, families of heroes who died in Afghanistan and other local wars, helps orphanages.

In 2005 S.N. Lebedev was awarded an honorary medal 'For Achievement in Environmental Protection' at the All-Russian Conference 'New State Environmental Policy in the Real Sector of the Economy'.

The activities of NPO Ecology LLC have been repeatedly noted with letters of thanks from the administration of Cheboksary and Novocheboksarsk, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Chuvash Republic, and the Ministry of Health of the Chuvash Republic.
