Few people know that Directive 2002/96 / EC on electrical and electronic waste (WEEE) and 2002/95 / EC eliminating hazardous materials from electronic equipment (RoHS) - regulate problems that are currently barely noticeable in Polish reality. Meanwhile, the obligation to recover waste electronic equipment in the amount of 4 kg per person per year requires the recycling of computers (about 20 million), household appliances and mobile phones.
