Baterpol buys and processes battery scrap, being at the same time a significant producer of refined lead and lead alloys.

The company operates in two plants, Zakład Przerobu Złomu Staliatorowego located in Świętochłowice and Zakład Ołowiu located in Katowice.

The technological solutions used by us close the battery recycling cycle and allow the economic use of over 95% of the weight of battery scrap.

The lead recovered from used batteries is used to produce refined lead, and the electrolyte and sulfur from the sulfurized paste are used to produce sodium sulphate - used in the chemical industry.

The most modern technological solutions applied in the world guarantee ecological recycling of used batteries, 
in conditions that meet the requirements of national and EU safety and environmental standards.

Our company has a specialized transport base adapted to the transport of hazardous waste and is able to collect any amount of battery scrap 

From all over the country.
