OUR HISTORY

On November 21, 1962, the Kalinin regional administration 'Rosglavvtormet' was given the task of designing a workshop for the processing of scrap and waste of non-ferrous metals and their alloys with a capacity of 5 thousand tons per year in Kalinin. The design task for the construction of the workshop was accepted for execution, the site for the construction of the workshop was selected on the territory of the existing Kalinin workshop for the processing of scrap and ferrous waste in the area of ​​the Mashinistov village in Kalinin.

On February 2, 1967, by Decision No. 35-5 of the Executive Committee of the Kalinin City Council of Workers' Deputies, an additional land plot was transferred to the enterprise along the same Mashinistov Street. Thus, the Vtortsvetmet enterprise, which was called at that time, already in 1967 was the largest and largest in Kalinin and the Kalinin region.

In 1994, as a result of privatization, the Tvervtortsvetmet1 Open Joint Stock Company was established. The main activity of the enterprise is still procurement, storage, primary processing (cutting, separation, packaging on a press) and sending to the consumer of scrap and waste of ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
