Solid waste is one of the most important causes of environmental pollution in our time but also for the company NILOS RECYCLING SA. Whether it is hazardous or not, easily or difficultly degradable, domestic or industrial, etc., waste continues to be a threat to the ecosystem, human-centered or natural.

The strategies that have been adopted from time to time have not yielded the required results, and as a consequence, the Landfills are now accumulating respectable volumes of useless - but also recyclable - materials.

Obviously alternative waste management has become an imperative. Such an effort takes place in the facilities of our company NILEOS RECYCLING SA.

NILOS RECYCLING SA  always in accordance with the provisions of Greek legislation and especially of Law 4014/2011, Law 4042/2012 and Law 4685/2012 and the relevant regulatory acts and circulars, has been licensed to collect and process all waste fall into the category of non-hazardous solid waste, with respect for the environment, which is also evidenced by the certifications of the Internationally recognized EN / ISO Standard that holds the following: 

ISO 14001: 2015 (Certification of environmental conditions for solid waste management) ·

ISO 45001: 2018 (Certification for the Safety and Hygiene of employees at work) ·

ISO 9001: 2015 (Certification of high quality services) ·

ISO 39001: 2012 (Road safety management certification)

The solid waste, which NILOS RECYCLING SA is called to manage, is subject to what is defined by the Greek legislation on non-hazardous solid waste, and all the procedures that take place meet the conditions of law 4819/2021.
