Ecocollect AD

ECOCOLLECT AD is an organization established for the purpose of collective fulfillment of the obligations of the persons who place packaged goods on the market on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria and are responsible for the subsequent separate collection of the generated packaging waste and their utilization.

The company is licensed in 2009 by the Ministry of Environment, relicensed by Decision â„– RO-RA-2-02 / 06.11.2017 , the already eleven years justifies the trust of its members by implementing successfully their objectives enshrined in Management Act of waste

Through monthly coordination with institutions and recycling companies, we guarantee you the assurance that your recovery and recycling obligations will be met and your company will be part of the environmentally responsible business.

Membership in Ecocollect AD provides an opportunity for companies in the country to fulfill their obligations for separate collection and recovery of packaging waste sold on the Bulgarian market and to become part of the 'Green Business of Bulgaria'.

Guarantee for achieving high results and efficiency in meeting the objectives of the Waste Management Act are the two eco-plants for solid waste processing - the Eco-plant in the village of Ezerovo, Varna region and the Eco-plant in the village of Shishmantsi, Plovdiv region, which are exclusive partners of Ecocollect AD.

The eco-plant in the village of Ezerovo, district Varna was opened in June 2011. This is the most modern facility in the country for mechanical and biological treatment and composting of waste, in the construction of which investments of over BGN 46 million have been made.

The eco-plant in the village of Shishmantsi, district Plovdiv was put into operation in December 2009. The investments made for its construction amount to over BGN 45 million.
