Bulgarian Recycling Company AD

Bulgarian Recycling Company AD has been established as a recovery organization within the meaning of § 1, item 26 of the Additional Provisions of the Waste Management Act and has a Decision Decision OOP-ELVS-01-00 / 05.03.2013 issued by the Ministry of the environment and water.

The Charter of the Organization guarantees the freedom of inclusion of new members.

The organization does not distribute profit, but spends the amounts accumulated from the collected royalties for the construction of an efficient and environmentally friendly system for waste management.

The subject of activity of the Organization is the construction of a system of facilities for collection, transportation, temporary storage and dismantling of end-of-life vehicles (ELVs) and for recovery and / or disposal of waste generated by vehicles that meet the requirements of the WMA. and the bylaws on its implementation. The financial security of the system is based on the royalties paid by the importers of motor vehicles.

The main goal of the Organization is to achieve sustainable and environmentally friendly management of waste from motor vehicles (MES) by creating an efficient and easily accessible system of sites for collection of this waste and by building a network of facilities for dismantling the collected ELVs and the subsequent recovery, including recycling, of their waste, with the last priority being the disposal of waste without energy recovery or its disposal.

To achieve this goal, the Organization enters into contracts with sites for temporary storage and dismantling of ELVs, facilities for recycling and recovery of all eligible waste.

We are also creating a system for cooperation with the municipalities in Bulgaria. Information campaigns are organized in order to stimulate the participation of vehicle owners in ELV waste collection systems.
