O’NEILL TRANSPORTATION AND EQUIPMENT AND O’NEILL WOOD RESOURCES ARE TWO LOCALLY OWNED AND OPERATED COMPANIES PROVIDING A VARIETY OF SERVICES THROUGHOUT NEBRASKA.

We strive to provide quality services at reasonable prices. We are proud to be members of the Grand Island Area Chamber of Commerce, Grand Island Area Economic Development Corporation, Nebraska Safety Council, National Demolition Association, Concrete Sawing and Drilling Association, and the National Mulch and Soil Council.

O’Neill Transportation and Equipment was formed in 2005 to provide structural demolition, interior demolition, and trucking services. Our initial focus was on central Nebraska projects but we quickly expanded to cover the entire state of Nebraska focusing on work in healthcare facilities, large commercial and industrial projects, and a wide variety of residential and commercial projects. In recent years we have added concrete wall sawing, electric concrete slab sawing, and a full line of GPS guided earthwork services.

O’Neill Wood Resources was formed in 2006 to provide wood recycling services to local industry and to produce wood bio-fuel for local agricultural facilities. Our business quickly expanded into making recycled wood animal bedding, composting and land clearing. We also produce a full line of landscape mulch made from 100% virgin tree material and safe, environmentally responsible mulch colorant. We provide wood grinding services throughout Nebraska and our mulch and animal bedding products are available from retailers throughout the state.

In 2015 OTE and OWR began working on a Construction and Demolition debris Landfill (C&D landfill). Opened in 2019 this C&D landfill provides a disposal service that is much closer to the City of Grand Island than existing facilities and allows inert materials to be legally disposed of in an NDEQ permitted facility while freeing up expensive space in our local Municipal Waste Landfills. In 2021 we began the process to add an NDEE licensed Material Recovery Facility to our operation to increase collection of recyclable materials.
