Management Company for Waste Management

JSC 'Management Company for Waste Management in the Leningrad Region' was vested with the powers of a regional operator on April 24, 2018 in accordance with the Agreement on organizing the activities of a regional operator for the management of solid municipal waste in the territory of the zone of activity 'Leningrad Region'.

In accordance with the agreement, the powers of the regional operator for a 10-year period include the collection, transportation, processing, utilization, disposal, disposal of solid municipal waste on the territory of the Leningrad Region independently or with the involvement of third parties.

On April 24, 2018, in the Leningrad Region, an agreement was signed on the organization of the activities of a regional operator for the management of solid municipal waste in the territory of the zone of operation of the Leningrad Region between the Administration of the Leningrad Region for the organization and control of waste management activities and Leningrad Region '.

The goal is to reduce the harmful effects of MSW on human health and the environment, increase the share of waste disposal and minimize waste disposal.

The presence of ecological culture in modern society is the most important component of the security of the population of the state.

Wastes buried in landfills, including unauthorized ones, which do not meet environmental safety requirements, pose a serious danger to humans.

Construction waste is waste generated in the course of reconstruction, repair or dismantling of buildings and structures. The category of construction waste includes: broken brick, concrete, pieces of plaster, tiles, other scraps and remnants of building materials.

Construction waste requires special handling; accordingly, it is prohibited to place this type of waste in places (sites) of accumulation and in containers intended for solid municipal waste.

Russian legislation provides for administrative liability for improper handling of construction waste, which is expressed in the form of imposing an administrative fine on officials and individuals.

To provide services for the removal of construction waste, it is necessary to conclude a  separate contract .

JSC 'Management Company for Waste Management in the Leningrad Region' having a license for the collection, transportation, processing, disposal, placement of construction waste, as well as being the owner of landfills located on the territory of the Leningrad Region, provides services for the removal of construction waste both from construction sites, and from other territories located in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region.
