Welcome to Sysav, South Scania Waste Company, that recycles and treats waste from households and industries in southern Skåne. The company is owned by 14 municipalities with a joint population of slightly more than 710,000, and Sysav is commissioned to manage the household waste in all owner municipalities. The subsidiary Sysav Industri AB has approximately 6,000 corporate customers.
At the recycling centre, you can dispose of your bulky waste, your garden waste, and your hazardous waste free of charge. Individuals have already paid for this service through the waste fee (renhållningstaxan). All companies, associations and organisations have to pay for their visits.
Remember to bring someone with you to help carry heavy goods. The staff on site will be happy to help you with advice on how to sort your waste, but is not allowed to help with unloading and lifting due to legislative and insurance reasons.
